Grant Newell qualified from Leeds University in 1981 with B.Ch.D.(Honours) and was awarded ‘The Charles Ripon Medal’ for the most distinguished student of the year. Over the years he has significant experience in all aspects of dental care; his areas of special interest are:

Dental Implants – he has been actively involved in implant dentistry since 1993. He has extensive experience of many of the major implant systems including Nobel Biocare, Astra, Camlog, TBR.

Grant has successfully completed the year long Certificate of Implant Dentistry at the St. Anne’s Clinic, Manchester.

He has pursued dental implant and restorative postgraduate education both in the United Kingdom and abroad. He has attended numerous clinical meetings in relation to several implant systems – Astratech, Nobel Biocare & Camlog. Apart from attending ADI conferences and master classes, he has travelled far and wide on a regular basis to learn from international speakers on restorative, aesthetic and implant dentistry.

He has been accepting referrals since 1998 for all aspects of implant work from single tooth to full arch restorations.
Braces – has been actively involved in the provision of braces for over 25 years, both for his own patients and those referred to him by other dentists.

Conscious sedation – although we pride ourselves in caring for anxious patients there are those who cannot come to terms with dental care. For such patients we can offer ‘Conscious Sedation’ in which a sedative drug, Midazolam’ is administered i.v. and this significantly relaxes the patient and enables them to accept dental care.

Graham Pindar qualified from Leeds Dental School in 1981 and was awarded the prize for Operative Dental Surgery. He started restoring implants in 1993 using Nobel Biocare and Astra systems. He has been a member of the Association of Dental Implantologists since 2000 and has attended courses in Sweden and the USA. He has a particular interest in cosmetic dentistry.

Dr Pindar has experience in Nobel Biocare, Astra and Camlog implant systems, aswell as the Branemark system. He has also attended numerous implant courses in the UK, Ireland, USA and Sweden.

Main interest in full arch rehabilitation with immediate function. David has extensive experience of the Novum, All On 4 and Nobel Guide Systems since 2001.

Experienced with intravenous sedation, block grafting, platelet rich plasma, sinus augmentation and guided tissue augmentation techniques.

David is happy to accept referrals for all aspects of implant dentistry having experience of over 1,500 fixtures placed. He is equally at home with both the surgical and prosthodontic phases of treatment.

David will also see patients for routine and surgical dentistry under IV sedation as well as advanced restorative dentistry.
