Ioannis Ziounas Read More

DDS (Russia) 2001, MSc ImpDent (UK) 2011 GDC No 100820 Special interests Implants, Cosmetic & Restorative Dentistry, and TMJ.

Mr Ziounas qualified in Russia in 2001 and returned to Athens to serve his military duty. After that he worked at the Naval and Air Force Hospital in Athens for three years before he moved in UK. In 2006, he joined a mixed practice in Hampshire where he worked as an associate for three and a half years. In the meantime he attended a number of postgraduate courses (e.g. Cosmetic, Restorative, TMJ, Facial Aesthetics and Clear step) to advance his clinical skills and experience. Since 2010, Ioannis has been a valuable member of the dental team in our practice and has provided a high standard of care for all our patients. In 2011, he completed an MSc in Implantology (Manchester University) and was awarded a Merit. Ioannis is fully committed to his own professional development and has attended several clinical courses in Greece, Sweden, France, Brazil, and USA to further his experience in Implant Dentistry. Ioannis is a member of the Association of Dental Implantology and he is undertaking all the implant related referrals at our practice. In his spare time Ioannis enjoys hiking and mountain biking.
