NHS Patients pay 80% of cost of treatments up to a maximum of £384
(1 April 2007)

Some patients are entitled to Free Dental Treatment if:

  • Under 18
  • Under 18 & in Full-Time Education
  • Are pregnant or have borne a child within 12 months before treatment starts
  • You are getting, or your partner gets: Income Support, Employment and Support Allowance (income related),
  • You are entitled to, or named on, a valid HS tax credit exemption certificate
  • You are named on a valid H2 Certificate
  • If you are unsure about the amount of your income, you can check this with the tax credits helpline on 0845 3003 900.

    Partial Help: If you are named on an HC 3 Cert, you might get some help towards the cost of your NHS dental Treatment.
